EDUCATION FUND :: POLICY DOCUMENT :: 2025–26

In pursuit of our Sangham’s primary objective towards welfare activities across Education, Medical, Cultural and Sports domains, we, the EC 2024 members, have resolved to establish dedicated funds for each of these areas. The creation of an exclusive Education Support Fund will enable our Sangham to extend partial assistance to needy members to meet Education related requirements.

MOBILISATION OF FUNDS
To strengthen the Sangham's Education Support initiatives, a humble appeal will be made to all members and well-wishers on an ongoing basis and Donations to the Education Fund will be accepted.
A resolution has been passed in the EC Meeting Dt. 20.10.2024 to open separate Bank Account for each Fund and individual accounts were opened in SBI, Puppalaguda Branch.

MAINTENANCE OF FUND
In response to the appeal made during the Karthika Atmiya Sammelanam held on 24.11.2024, members have collectively contributed ₹55,000/- towards the Education Fund. The mobilized amount has been deposited into the dedicated Current Account opened specifically for this purpose, ensuring transparent and purposeful utilization of funds.

UTILISATION OF FUND

In continuation of our commitment to empower the GVSS community through educational welfare, the following guidelines have been established for extending support from the Education Fund.  It will be ensured that the donations received from the members and well wishers for the noble cause will be utilized judiciously ensuring transparency and purposeful utilization of funds.

• Applications will be invited from students belonging to the GVSS community residing anywhere in India.
• All applications will be scrutinized by the GVSS Committee, and the recommendations of the committee in selection of the beneficiaries shall be considered final.

Scope of Support

Suitable financial assistance will be provided in the form of a fixed amount per eligible student to aid with:
• Term fee payment
• Purchase of textbooks
• Hostel fee coverage
• Procurement of laptops and other academic essentials

Sanction for Academic Year 2025–26

1. Class X/ITI: Support for 1 student – ₹ 4,000/-
2. Intermediate / Technical Diploma: Support for 1 student – ₹ 5,000/-
3. 3-Year Degree Course: Support for 1 student – ₹ 6,000/-

Fund Utilization & Transparency Guidelines
The support amount for each student will be reviewed annually, with revisions made as necessary based on the funds available in the Education Fund. As the fund is collectively pooled through contributions from multiple members, it is not feasible to provide a direct utility report for each individual donor’s contribution. Nevertheless, to uphold transparency and accountability, the details of donations received and the support extended to students will be periodically updated on the Sangham website. These updates will also be shared with members through designated communication groups.

Eligibility Criteria for Educational Support

1. Wards of Golkonda Vyapari (GV) Family Members, i.e., the surname of the student as per certificate should be GV surname, from anywhere in India are eligible to apply. Preference will be given to members belonging to the EWS category and students enrolled/studying in Government institutions.
2. The application must be submitted in writing by the student, parent, or guardian, requesting support along with supporting documents.
3. Students must have secured a minimum of 75% marks in the immediately preceding academic year.
4. The above criteria and guidelines are subject to periodical review and revision by the GVSS Committee.
